This hill above the town of Ballycastle is unnamed on OS maps, but is named named Knockaughaleeg on William Bald's map of 1830. It is located in the townland of Aghaleague, Ir. Achadh Liag [logainm.ie], 'field of the standing stone'. A cairn on the summit is called Seefin (from Ir. Suí Finn, 'Fionn's seat', a common name for hill-top megaliths throughout Ireland). Has been called Ballycastle Hill.
