Re loading tracks in Garmin basecamp
Context of comment:I don't know if it is a basecamp issue but tracks from MV won't load in basecamp. My workaround is to load them into https://www.gpsvisualizer.com/ and save as a . gpx file. It is then usable. |

Login error.
Context of comment:Please note that today, 2 July 2019 for some hours there has been a login problem. Essentially this has meant that you may find that when you return to the system prompts you as if you were a guestuser even though you have previously logged in on the device you are using.Message:If this happens to you, then enter your correct credentials and the system should work. The underlying has been fixed as far as we are aware. Additional points:However as with all bugfixes there may be other issues. Don't hesitate to let us know. |

Track # 2900
Context of comment:This track is corrupted. It appears to be two separate tracks that are joined. Saggart Hill and Cupidstown Hill are one track; Lugnagun is another track that is a significant distance away. The track summary shows length of 10.1 km, which I believe is the correct distance for the first track above. However, the time of 7h55m probably reflects the distance of doing both hikes, including the distance in between. Also, when the GPX file is downloaded, it shows a distance of 66.4 km, with Blessington Lake being a skipped portion of the hike. |

"don't know" option for view rating?
Context of comment:View ratingsMessage:How about adding a "don't know/didn't see it" option for the "view" question when rating hills? Currently if you climb a hill to be greeted by a summit view of 30 feet of mist then you either can't rate it or have to guess what the view might be like on a better day. All the other qualities aren't weather dependent so "view" is the odd one out (tongue not entirely in my cheek). |

Lyons Hill 197m North Kildare
Context of comment:Visited Lyons Hill on New Years Day, was wondering if this Hill could be included in Binnions list or local and historical liist. A lot of History to this Hill Message:According to North Kildare tourist information, 7 Counties can be seen from Summit. It also served as as a spiritual home and coronation site of ten Kings of Leinster from 760-1003. Lyons was one of 300 locations featured in Dinnshencash Eirenn and was designated as one the "assemblies and noted places" of Ireland ranked with Tara, Eamhain Mhaca, Knockaulin Cruachan with a 28- verse foundation myth, the Toraiocht of Liaumin> and there is much more. |

New mapping layer added.
Context of comment:For some time we have had difficulties with licensing on map layers with a warning about API licensing appearing in one case.Message:We have introduced a new mapping layer "OpenTopoMap" for use on maps on the website as a trial. This is a layer that appears for the entire world which has contours and hill-shading built in (though not layer tinting). This layer should be particularly useful in Northern Ireland where the OSI mapping we also have is not detailed. Additional points:As usual we are looking for bug reports and also any comments about the new layer. As previously, we offer a number of layers and if one doesn't work on a given occasion, another probably will. These are accessed by clicking on the layer symbol on the map at its top right corner. |
