Birthday Present
Hi all,
I am giving my boyfriend a gift of a walk through Wicklow for a weekend soon.
I want to stay in a B&B Fri night and then walk for the day on Saturday ending up in a second destination to spend the night. The plan would be to return to the original B&B by a second route the next day.

Does anyone have a good suggestion of a loop of this kind in Wicklow?
I was thinking of Glenmalure to Glendalough but I really dont know much about these things :-(

Help!!

Caroline

Aidand's directions are spot on. The road that looks like an entrance to a house actually leads into a forest, it is rough but manageable if you drive very slow. I drove as far as an old abandoned...

You can start at Ballaghisheen, a mountain pass V671 792. Space here for 3-4 cars. Ballaghisheen is at just over 300m so the climb to the top at around 551m is not a great strain. There is a sign ...
