Slieve Gullion - Child Friendly

Thanks for that. Any idea how far the summit is from the top car-park? Trying to guage where best to park with the kids..

Thanks again,

Just an update for anyone reading over this - Slieve Gullion is indeed child friendly. Steep and slippy in places but manageable. My 11 year old managed it without any real problems. My 9 year old found it tough going initially being her first walk to such a height but as her confidence grew, she coped very well. Walk up is around 45 minutes from the top car-park - another 10 or 15 minutes from there will bring you across to the incredible lake. Great family day out.
