Slieve Gullion - Child Friendly
Just a quick post to ask anyone who is familiar with Slieve Gullion if it would be considered child friendly. Thinking of bringing the two eldest up over the weekend if the weather permits - ages are 9 and 11. 9 year old has been on some lower hill walks and loves it but just to check what the ground underfoot is like on Gullion. From reading on here, looks like I can drive to the top carpark which will shorten the trek to the summit - hopefully my car is still there when I get back (I've heard the reports!!).

Thanks in advance,
Paul

While not very challenging, recent felling means the views along the way and from the summit are pleasant enough. A nice spot for a lunchtime walk.
