Wet camera
Wicklore, if you google 'wet camera' you will find plenty on the theme and all kinds of advice. Try ,for example: http://www.shutterbug.net/techniques/pro_techniques/0507wetcam/ ("When Cameras Get Wet: Things To Do After A Dousing"). Unfortunately, if a camera has been turned on after water has seeped in and before it has dried out completely, it has probably shorted and it's as cheap (or as expensive) to buy a new one as it is to try to have it repaired. Treat yourself!
