Re Downloading Tracks
tomodub
These notes may help:
Go to the area in question.
Click on "Open Walks Finder" at left of page.
Select a track you are interested in by clicking on it.
At the bottom of the track you should see a button "Export Data"
Click on this and then choose what sort of track you want for the GPS, for example Create compressed version of track ...
Click on Download as GPX file. Click on Start Download
This will then allow you to get a .GPX file and save it on your pc/ mac etc..
Next what happens depends on the GPS unit. For newer devices the procedure for loading a .GPX file onto a Garmin is to copy it to a particular directory on the device.
For older devices you will need to use an intermediary product like GPSU or Gartrip which can be downloaded.
These allow transferring a .GPX file to a Garmin.
All this sounds a bit long winded, but if you do it a few times it becomes very quick.
An issue with some older Garmins is that they have limited capacity for many tracks.
Please ask if you have further questions.
Enjoy the track, but remember they are offered in the hope they are useful but with no guarantee.

Excellent if introduceing new walkers reasonably well signed but was a little overgrown in spots and path really close to wire fencing at others. Apart from that ☺

Knockardakin: Bag it as part of the cliff walk
TommyV 4 days ago.
I technically haven't bagged the summit of this hill as it wasn't listed on MV when I did the Ciiffs of Moher walk, but it would be a very small detour to bag it. I was no more than 50 meters from...

Nothing to add to simon3's directions. Like quite a few of the hills in North Tipperary, this one is through a Coilte forest track to begin with and then the tough push through some horrible groun...
