Rockall
You have included many islands, however you seemed to have missed one of Ireland's most famous islands Rockall.

Hopefully Mountainviews can arrange a trip out to this mythical Irish island.

Legend has it that when Finn McCool built the Giant's Causeway as stepping-stones to Scotland, so as not to get his feet wet; he also once scooped up part of Ireland to fling it at a rival, but it missed and landed in the Irish Sea — the clump became the Isle of Man and the pebble became Rockall, the void became Lough Neagh.

Geo's directions are spot on. At the aforementioned Coilte forest entrance there is a sign staing no unauthorized vehicles beyond this point as the gate may close at any point. However as the Lazy...

Nothing to add to the directions provided by melohara. Just to mention two things, the parking place was littered with close to a hundred empty beer cans, it looks like there was a party there or ...

Camlough Mountain: Army Dreamers

Relatively recent history has liberated Camlough Mountain from the bonds of the military: some metallic paraphernalia remains high on its slopes but if one puts that aside it's a cracking little e...

Carrigshouk: Accessible but not necessarily easy.

Although Carrigshouk is very close to a road it's quite a rough little walk, with deep heather, boulders, scrub and the remants of old tree planting. The worst of this can be avoided by parking ea...
