'Maamturks Double'
Looking for information on what constitutes a 'Maamturks Double'. Is it from the base of Corcóg to the car park opposite the Leenane Hotel and back to the base of Corcóg (over the challenge route)? Can find one record of someone doing a 'Maamturks Double' in 1992 but there's no great detail of route, but there is a time (however, it doesn't say if it's a 'moving time' or 'total time). Has it been done since, on the day of the challenge or outside of the challenge day? If so, are there any records? I'll also email NUIG to see if they have any info.
PS: Very interested in what footwear a person would have done this in 1992. |
