Height of Corrán Tuathail ??
From IMC forum... a query

There a story in today’s Indo of a dramatic rescue from Carrauntoohil, which is described as being 3,406 feet high.
Before the OSI went metric it used to be 3,414 ft. high. Perhaps our little island is now sinking under it’s current debt burden, or maybe the changing fashions in religious summit furniture affect height measurements?
The OSI 1:50K map shows it as 1040 while the OSI 1:25K map shows it a 1039. The crack research team at the Indo obviously just use Wikipedia (1038), but by definition everything they print is either rubbish or lies so one can probably discount this figure. Does anybody know what the actual height is?
