Messaging Service Flightless
Which reminds me about an ostrich ....... something to do with the messaging service on this website.
Ah yes it has come back to me. It is completely rubbish. You can't see your message out.
Of course I and a few others have pointed this out. Not just as I am doing today: but many times.
Various Heath Robinson opportunities have been proposed by the site chiefs - like copy yer message out and save it as a Windows 95 Word doc. Preserve me!
We could of course put in carbon paper. That is another good solution.
The thing is only highlighted to me again because 2 parties amongst my acquaintances have an advantage in a discussion, but with said system can't have it. One has given up on the thing anyway and doesn't care that it is rubbish :-) and the other comes to it new and is troubled (and knowing the party a little, not one bit impressed) by it.
Needs to be fixed gents please. No ifs. No buts. No carbon paper. It is 2014 - y'know, 14 whole years into a new century. The one with the technology thingy.

Aidand's directions are spot on. The road that looks like an entrance to a house actually leads into a forest, it is rough but manageable if you drive very slow. I drove as far as an old abandoned...

You can start at Ballaghisheen, a mountain pass V671 792. Space here for 3-4 cars. Ballaghisheen is at just over 300m so the climb to the top at around 551m is not a great strain. There is a sign ...
