lamination and map?
i can tell you how i am dealing with lamination problem. i have the normal paper OS map of the area. then i choose the area i am going to and copy just that part of the map in full colour to A4 format. then i just put it in the A4 plastic multi punched pocket (so common in each office stationary and so cheap to buy -packed in 100pc). i can put 2 these copies in one pocket showing different areas if going for weekend or so. then just to tape the top of the pocket by scotch tape and the job is done. u can fold it or anything, will not become wet and is pretty readeable and so easily to do, if u lost or somehow damaged them. if u dont like those punches on 1 side, u can just cut them away. i am pretty satisfied with them and will never buy the laminated ones.

Foardal: Beyond a shadow of a doubt

Foardal: Simple approach from NW

If you want to do this in isolation, the simplest route is from the car park at V882790, and then heading SE directly up the heathery slope for 1km. The summit itself is a broad heathery mound.

There are access issues around Moll's Gap, so suggest starting at car park at V882790 and proceeding up the heathery slopes to Foardal - about 1km to the SE, before walking the 1.5km to the SW to ...
