Re An Bhinn Láir
Looks like you are constructing a circuit of a bunch of the Dunkerrons. I have been in the general area a couple of times though not specifically crossing that narrow neck. I found the Google satellite photo to be clearest on our Main Area Display and have attached it. The water between the two points looks surprisingly wide however my guess is that you'll get across it in any but the worst rainy weather since these things usually have stepping stones - in fact there appears to be a line of them at the Cloonaghlin Lough end. You'll probably need permission from the houseowner at the northern end of the spit of land. I asked for permission at houses in the area on another occasion and didn't have any problem.

I hope you do find a circuit there, it would be a great addition to our tracks.

An Bhinn Láir and vicinity has some of the most photogenic country in Ireland in my view.
