NOT JUST A NUMBER
I am pleased to read in the newsletter that the MountainViews site now includes the Hill of Tara in its database, not so much in response to my own opinions about its exclusion (sure all this data and accuracy is not really my thing anyway) but more for other parties who were nervous about flagging it up themselves.
I am sure we would never be comfortable being seen from any quarter as too grand to address suggestions, proposals and even criticism of the data we are proposing - so I am pleased that we have dispelled any nascent myth of that kind.
In the same vein, I was also pleased to read Jackill's reply to my query again made on behalf of another party, about the 16 Twelve Bens and that it still engages our attention.
Simon takes the time to point out about the 6 Five Sisters and he is of course right. Perhaps we might feel confident enough to flag that up to the Mountaineering Council of Scotland. There was a great opportunity, alas now missed, on Sunday - just after the final whistle. |
Thanks guys I will.. by declancorrigan (Show all posts) |
