Mountainviewer Roberto nails the Sevens
I don't know why there are so few of us left. If you want to tell us, good enough - but don't hurry. We have scarred knees and strapped ankles; grizzled faces and hands like leather. Our world is rock, heather, black bog and misted horizons - and if it is not moving under us like a railroad track, it is no earthly use. We know not what height it is; we care not what width it is; and if there is something else to tell us about it, we shall leave that to the story tellers. We see nothing but the mountain.
Today one of the best of our kind and also a long time mountainviewer took the toughest of all Irish Challenge Walks, the Mourne Seven Sevens - seven tops over 700ms - and knocked them into 7hrs 19mins. Perhaps mountainviews will revel in this. If it doesn't, trust me I and all the likes of me shall. So very much. All Hail mountainviews' "roberto". Top man!
