Anyone doing a Challenge Walk?
Have done a few treks in recent weeks in the 8-9 hour with > 1500m ascent variety, so was half thinking of doing Maamturks this weekend but forecast not so good so think I might set my sights on another. Think Knockmealdown crossing is on next weekend which would seem like a good one, but family wedding means that's out too. There is one during the summer from Mount Brandon across to the Connor Pass and on the Annascaul that I will try anyway, as its within easy enough driving distance. Anyone planning on doing any of them?

The summit is unremarkable though easy to spot as it lies along the fence.

Caherbarnagh East Top: A worthwhile addition.

This summit is easily reached from the main Caherbarnagh ridge and seems easy enough to get to from Curracahill as well. If coming from Caherbarnagh, best is to cross the fence just before the col...
