Everyman's Right of Access
Just in case anyone else may be interested in the Swedish approach to the Right of Public Access, I can recommend the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency's webpages on this topic (http://www.naturvardsverket.se/en/In-English/Menu/Enjoying-nature/The-right-of-public-access/). Another informative page can be found at http://www.pinetreedevelopment.net/scandinavia/allemansratt.php. Although this common right of access has its roots in the Middle Ages and is expressed today in the Swedish Constitution of 1994 ("Alla ska ha tillgång till naturen enligt allemansrätten": All shall have access to nature in accordance with the 'common right'), it has not been framed in law or even rigorously defined. Perhaps this explains why books are written by Swedes on its extent and limitations. You have to turn to Sweden's Environmental Code (Miljöbalken) to find regulations and sanctions that apply. At the same time, however, there is a shared understanding of its general content, as you will see from the webpages I indicate.

Skregmore: Incidental summit in the Reeks
