Hi dianne, you could check out the Tower and Drum Loops at Glencolmcille, great walk, excellent views and a bit of ascent without being too demanding. Also, there's a marked walk at Glencar waterfall, just on the Leitrim side of the Sligo/Leitrim border — a little tougher but still nothing too hectic. These are just marked/trail walks that come to mind as opposed to open hillwalking. www.irishtrails.ie is a useful site. |
