Speaking of Amazon
These excellent hiking socks are available on Amazon and represent really good value for money IMO. They are retailed as Kirkland signiture brand for Costco but I have been told that they are made by Smartwool and do look strikingly like Smartwool socks, they have 71% Merano wool. At £20 for four pairs they are significantly less than half Smartwool prices.

Absolutely no affiliation to Amazon by the way!!
