Wicklow Way being diverted up the Spink till
Anybody walking the Wicklow Way between now and November should note that the route section in Glendalough is being diverted up the Spink and around by Prezen Rock to meet the boardwalk below Mullacor until next November. Forestry operations in Lugduff forest the reason.
Have to say the route up the Spinc and around to meet the old WW below Mullacor is far more interesting than the route through the forest. Will probably mean more walker traffic along the Spink which is already probably one of the most walked stretches of mountain in the entire country
