Re: Paul Henry Sell Off
Ah c'mon CV, Paul Henry wasn't bad at all at all. Have to say I'm a fan. Sure his paintings are a bit dull in colour, but there's a certain sense of mystery and beauty to those purples and greys, and they're a pretty accurate portrayal of the way the hills of Galway and Mayo look a lot of the time. And he can't have hated the hills if he spent so much time painting them, and he must have loved the west if he spent so much time on Achill surely. I like Hinde's work a lot too, but how often does Minaun really look like this? http://www.johnhindecollection.com/ireland2.html

Carrigshouk: Accessible but not necessarily easy.
