Lugnaquilla
I intend to climb lugnaquilla in mid april and then cross the mountains over 5 days from the Glen of Imaal to Glendalough. I've chosen mid april as I expect the weather to be fine then. I intend camping in the mountains over the course of these days. As a lot of you are very experienced in this field, I wonder if it was not too much trouble could I have some advice on a few things. Would I need to Inform any organisations of my intentions, and what safety precautions would I need to take while camping and walking. I would like to document the trip up Lugnaquilla on video and make a short documentary for you tube for anyone who may wish to do the same, pointing out things they may need and general safety warnings. The thing is, I have never hillwalked before. I am a beginner in this sport. Any advice at all would be appreciated.
John.
