Comment on New hillwalker emergency location
The following was sent to us recently about a new service - they are inviting comment.

Hi, We are bringing a launching a new service in ireland called BigRedButton (www.BigRedButton.Com).
The app sends your long and lat. location to our server once you press it and makes a call to our call centre. In the case of a badly sprained or broken ankle while hill walking using the app can send you help to your exact location. We would welcome a conversation to discuss whether you think this would be a useful service for your members.

Croaghmoyle: No boots needed.
TommyV a week ago.
It's possible to drive to the top of this hill, but if you don't have an SUV or some sort of 4x4 I wouldn't recommend it. Park at the start of the road before Lough Ben as mentioned by three5four0...

Dough Mountain: Directions to the summit
magnumpig a week ago.
I'd contend that Douagh isn't as ugly a hill as MadFrankie would suggest, with fine views from it's slopes towards Manorhamilton and Benbo especially. Plus it's always good for the soul to be in L...
