Comment on New hillwalker emergency location
The following was sent to us recently about a new service - they are inviting comment.

Hi, We are bringing a launching a new service in ireland called BigRedButton (www.BigRedButton.Com).
The app sends your long and lat. location to our server once you press it and makes a call to our call centre. In the case of a badly sprained or broken ankle while hill walking using the app can send you help to your exact location. We would welcome a conversation to discuss whether you think this would be a useful service for your members.

Well worth a visit but don’t use this as a summit to be a trend setter! Use the Kilcommon Pilgrim Loop to access the well signposted waymarked way to the summit. Park at R89506121 and follow pil...

Taken on a crisp November afternoon, looking in the direction of Lough Allen, to the south. Access to this mountain has been made easier by the recent construction of a large windfarm.

Binn Shleibhe: Sunset on the peak area - November 30th, 2019

Picture taken in direction of Maam Cross and Lackavrea. As others have noted, spectacular views for little effort. The old bog road to the summit from the car park is very cute too.
