Forward to Scavvy 7 - and 1 step back please
Yesterday evening I posted the stuff on the Scavenger Walk August 27th to run on the main page. I have posted the info twice before, to flag up the event and yesterday to advise all comers that it is FREE and that everyone is welcome; also and very importantly to give mountainviewers who hope to come along, the nod that they probably need to book accommodation fairly soon. Yesterday evening's post is not directed at those already going nor the stalwarts of this site who decide what post lives or what post dies, but at newbies - who may or may not visit motley views where the post now languishes. Perhaps it can be re-instated, for these reasons, on the main page.
