Weekend Weather
FRIDAY : Good dry, possibly bright periods will develop in eastern and midland areas on Friday but staying overcast further west and northwest with rain and some heavy falls are possible in the northwest. Very mild, with maximum temperatures of 12 to 16 Celsius but breezy in a fresh southerly wind. Rain will become widespread again on Friday night heaviest in the west and northwest and becoming potentially very windy. WEEKEND : Cooler over the weekend. Very windy Saturday morning with rain giving way to squally showers. Brighter weather developing as the day goes on and winds moderating. (From Met Eireann)
