Re. CAMPING
Thanks for the advice and suggestions Nicky! I always go camping with my da and uncle, so I reckon we'd be grand. Yeah I thought Binnian would be a great place to camp. It would be amazing to wake up and have the views of all the surrounding mountains and the resevoirs! However, I'm not too sure if Bearnagh would be possible. I might've been a bit too optimistic there! If you want to experience first light again and be surrounded by dramatic views, I would seriously recommend to you (and others on MV) to try camping on the summit of Doan. Out of all the places I've ever camped, this is my favourite. It really is an excellent place. You're out of the way of midges, a water supply is close by, there's plenty of room to pitch a few tents and you are surrounded by fantastic scenery. What could be better?? |
