Set the record straight
To all general readers of the forum and those in the trendy members forum debate usually involves a degree of involvment and aquainting oneself of the facts not attacking somone or a group of people you dont know have never met and have no idea of the hard work they do if anyone really wants to debate the path restoration work you need to look at scotland england wales the republic and the work done in their mountains ,possibly read a walking magazine or 2 look up other projects on line, see what happens in the alps in the italian lakes ,spain, corsica, USA canada, new zealand ......................ad nauseum its easy to criticise and then go home with half the hill on your boots or washed into a stream. Its not a difficult concept.
