One more piece of Kerry vulcanism
Another place in Kerry where there are some volcanic rocks is at Clogher head, at the western end of the Dingle peninsula. I haven't looked at it closely, but a small peak, topped by volcanic outcrops, juts up to the east of the main Slea head road at Q315022. According to the Geology of Dingle Bay booklet, Inisvickillane also has some igneous rocks. |
