Welsh mountains
Just on what earlier posters were commenting on views of the Welsh mountains, I've seen the Welsh mountains before but never from so low a height as Two Rock/FaerieCastle. Last time I saw them was sometime last year from the top of Maulin a few miles south from Two Rock and a good bit higher. I was up Two Rock earlier in the day on Sunday and the Cooleys were faintly visible. Also faintly visible in the distance on a line running from Two Rock through the Baily lighthouse in Howth was the Isle of Man. Glorious conditions yesterday with the bonus of the ground still being sufficiently frozen to make for great underfoot conditions - none of the usual morass between Two Rock and Faerie Castle. |
