Rebels' Cave Glenmalure
Another unsuccessful walk to locate this elusive cave. I approached from above - an easy approach. According to my GPS I was within 2 meters of the map reference given by Tom Milligan (below) and carefully entered into my GPS, AND no sign of the cave. Scrambled around for half an hour, 5 of us, but no luck. Was the map reference a GPS one or estimated from a map? Is it a very small entrance? Does this cave still exist? ??

Lackakeely: An easy bag after Mweelrea
magnumpig a day ago.
Mweelrea is a sweaty old climb (for me anyways) and if, like me, you feel that climbing it deserves bagging more than one peak, you should visit Lackaleely. Basically it's a small rise overlooking...

As mentioned by Bunsen7, the entrance to the windfarm is the best way to access this hill. Note that there are signs saying no unauthorized access but isn't that always the way. I did come across ...

No excuse not to come over here for a peek if you are at Truskmore, so that's what we did and it's worth it for the extra view.
