Walks and Camping Spots in the Mournes
Although I've actually camped in the Mournes, more of a daytime walker and back to a nice warm bath by nightfall, I've always thought that an overnight stop by the shores of Lough Shannagh would be idyllic. Well out of the way, with only Carn and Doan for company. Then again, maybe you've already tried it here, but if I were to camp out in the mountains I think thatís where I'd choose.
