No Wexford Mountaineering Club
I'd just like to comment on the fact that there is no Mountaineering or Climbing clubs located in wexford. If there is I have never heard of one. I am quite sure that many enthusiastic climbers are in the wexford locality, and if there was a climbing club available, they would be active members. I know there are no far-out mountains in the county but the blackstairs are nearby and the wicklow mountains only an hours drive, which would make for great team trips at the weekends.
I would greatly appreciate any comments on this subject, and when I finish college I would be willing to get involved in setting up a local club, if the interest is there. Happy Climbing!!
