Failte Ireland Looped Walk maps
I have been asked by Failte Ireland to look at the design of their looped walks maps (see http://tcs.ireland.ie/dataland/TCSAttachments/742_81BlackHeadLoop.pdf as an example). Although these routes & maps are geared towards the casual walker I was also wondering if any MV members have used these maps. If so, then I would be grateful of any feedback regading style, content and usability of the maps. For example, do you think distinction of different grades along a route might be helpful, or use of hill shading (with or without contours), location of services, view points etc. Any comments would be gratefully received either via the forum or via private message. Thanks, Martin
