HI Marymac, The Hill of Tara is marked on the OSI map as being 159m in elevation, while at Skreen, a couple of kilometres away, across the N/M3, the height is marked as 172m, so Tara has a prominence of only 40-50m, much less than the 150m required for inclusion. Even if it were the highest point in the area, it would not be prominent enough for inclusion, as the ground doesn't seem to drop below 40-50m between Tara and the Wicklow Mountains.
