Beast of Beagh Barked
Eager to discover which exotic creature had made the prints in the snow on lonely Slieve Beagh I sent the image to James Pembroke in Kerry. James is a wildlife expert and is involved with wildlife photography and videography.

James believes that the prints are those of a large, young labrador dog. Not a big fierce cat. The Beast of Beagh Barked! we can all breathe easy on Slieve Beagh now. But after reading three5four0's subsequent comments about big cats elsewhere in the North I may still be looking over my shoulder...
