'RUNNING UP THAT HILL'
Bear Grills as Cra Fries!! can a buddy not leave the island to investigate Heathcliff and Kathy's backyard without WW2 re-enactments carried out by el stunto over-the-hillo crababy getting in tomore bother? I've said it before bring on the national park and lets clear the hills of pestilence and plague. Had a peek at the peak district ,long edges, deep holes, strange sausages strangely free of picts (Hadrians wall serving some use) the sunday was jam packed with all manner of mountain bikers(hurray!) fell runners (more hurray) and dandering meandering paclite clad pensioners disgorged from coaches in the little town of Castleton in the Hope valley home of mines, bleu jeaune, and the lovely Mam Tor ridge across which the above mob were swarming tatooed with numbers. A competition of sorts I assumed. The ridge is pretty and paved for most of its length a glimpse at temps futura apres the parc nationale! vive la revolution and god bless Kate Bush (A Cra favourite)

Letterbreckaun can be seen from Clare island, around 33km away. It appears between Mweelrea and the high ground towards the Sheefrys.

The summit is unremarkable though easy to spot as it lies along the fence.

Caherbarnagh East Top: An easy stroll from Caherbarnagh.

There is a gate to cross when coming down from the cairn at the NE end of the main Caherbarnagh ridge (I found it was actually easier to cross the fence just right of the gate). There is a faint t...

Caherbarnagh East Top: A worthwhile addition.
David-Guenot 4 days ago.
This summit is easily reached from the main Caherbarnagh ridge and seems easy enough to get to from Curracahill as well. If coming from Caherbarnagh, best is to cross the fence just before the col...
