Western peak is the highest point on island

Took ferry on windy day and visited both Middle quarter (87 Metres) and Western quarter (89 Metres) peaks and the cliffs. As the ferry leaves Cleggan at 11.30 and Inishboffin at 17.00 there was not enough time to visit the third peak on the island Knock (82 metres) I concur with Ucampbell that the western peak is the highest on the island. Leave the red route just after Doonmore hotel at and head up boreen at 523651 starB After passing through gate this stops at a wall with another gate and a short climb will lead you to the summit. From here walk to the cliffs for great views and a walk east will lead you to the short climb to Middle Quarter Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/2211/comment/24000/
