Took the ferry from Blacksod Pier which took around 20 minutes. As the tide was out took a dinghy to the pier, and was given a guided tour of a relative Kia of one of the islands residents who moved to mainland in 1931. We visited the school shibín, King's house, shop and cilin. Than we were left to explore the island on our own sadly there the fog arrived when i was there. Still i went to the Alt Mor (the high Point) which naturally had no views due to the mist and than down to the surpisingly dramatic cliffs, explored a bit more of the island before the journey back.
