Dillon, Paddy Connemara

Publisher: Collins Published: 2001 Last revision: Added by PaulMoore
Picture from PaulMoore Contract pics"The main section of the book comprises 30 walks, suitable for all abilities. Each walk has a key illustrating principal features:level of difficulty and type of terrain, a route profile indicating altitude and distances, as well as a fact file summarising useful information, such as start and finish points, duration, safety advice and points of interest. - Illustrated with colour maps from Harveys, each walk is then described in detail with clear, easy-to-follow instructions. The text is accompanied by stunning colour photographs.".......I am a "preparation junky" and this is about as good as it gets (provided you also study MountainViews, GoogleEarth and your Harveys Map carefully!!). I unhesitatingly recommend this little masterpiece.(By the way, the above cover picture seems to be of the Yorkshire Dales!! The real book cover has Kylemore Abbey)
