wicklore: Track 2622 in area near Fossy Mountain, South Midlands (Ireland)
I built a marker cairn
Length: 3.4km, Creator time taken: 1h 2m, Ascent: 71m,
Descent: 81m

Places: Start at S56550 88183, Fossy Mountain, end at Start
Logged as completed by 1
A straightforward walk along a forest track will bring you to within a few hundred feet of the summit. Watch out for the little cairn of stones I built on the left of the track which shows where to head into an overgrown forest ride. I made a little tripod of old branches to mark what I thought was the highest point of the forest ride where the summit is. This walk will be best remembered for the deer or hares you see along the way as the summit is enclosed in a forest with no views.

Note: ALL information such as Ascent, Length and Creator time taken etc should be regarded as approximate. The creator's comments are opinions and may not be accurate or still correct.
Your time to complete will depend on your speed plus break time and your mode of transport. For walkers: Naismith's rule, a rough and often inaccurate estimate, suggests a time of 0h 48m + time stopped for breaks
Note: It is up to you to ensure that your route is appropriate for you and your party to follow bearing in mind all factors such as safety, weather conditions, experience and access permission.
