march-fixer: Track 2114 in area near United Kingdom, England ()
The Broads - Fleggburgh-Stokesby Circuit
Length: 16.5km, Creator time taken: 5h 8m, Ascent: 289m,
Descent: 294m

Places: Start at J49808 00937, end at Start

This area of the south west Broads is typical Norfolk countryside with wide open views and multiple right-of-way paths. Start at the excellent car-park facility and head SSE along the playing field. At Silver Street head W for 200m and then SSE before swinging back NW to join the junction of Pound Lane and Beech Lane.

Head W for 250m and take the path S and then W to meet up with Marsh Road where you head south along the track. At the path junction at 1.5979 52. 6563 do not make my mistake and head off WNW but continue SW along the track of Muck Fleet dyke.

Keep following the track across the fields to the River Bure where you swing E to Stokesby. There is refreshment (food & drink) available here. Head NE to Croft Hill and the good track leading a zig-zag way NE to rejoin your original path. Retrace you way back to the car-park.

Note: ALL information such as Ascent, Length and Creator time taken etc should be regarded as approximate. The creator's comments are opinions and may not be accurate or still correct.
Your time to complete will depend on your speed plus break time and your mode of transport. For walkers: Naismith's rule, a rough and often inaccurate estimate, suggests a time of 3h 47m + time stopped for breaks
Note: It is up to you to ensure that your route is appropriate for you and your party to follow bearing in mind all factors such as safety, weather conditions, experience and access permission.
