dino: Track 2103 in area near Crockbrack, Sperrin Mountains (Ireland)
Length: 12.3km, Creator time taken: 3h36m, Ascent: 547m,
Descent: 550m

Places: Start at H75215 97147, Crockbrack, end at Start
Logged as completed by 2
Route inspired by route card from "Landscapes from Stone: Walk The Sperrins".

An easy to moderate walk along a mixture of paved roads, country lanes, farm and bog tracks with one section (Crockbrack to Craigbane) across trackless upland grazing.

Navigation is easy with clear tracks most of the way and the route follows fencelines where there are no tracks.

Parking is available at the Church in Moneyneany but it seems to be hit and miss regarding opening times and the gate is locked when closed. Alternative, limited parking at the nearby Costcutter shop and Hogan Stand bar.

Much of the route is heavily grazed by sheep so if bringing a dog ensure it knows how to behave around sheep or else use a lead.

Note: ALL information such as Ascent, Length and Creator time taken etc should be regarded as approximate. The creator's comments are opinions and may not be accurate or still correct.
Your time to complete will depend on your speed plus break time and your mode of transport. For walkers: Naismith's rule, a rough and often inaccurate estimate, suggests a time of 3h 22m + time stopped for breaks
Note: It is up to you to ensure that your route is appropriate for you and your party to follow bearing in mind all factors such as safety, weather conditions, experience and access permission.
