This is a fine walk visiting two outliers of the Galtys as well as the two Greenane summits. It makes use of an exciting track high above Lough Boreen on Galtybeg on the return. The route is a mixture of track and heather walking, and there are no difficult sections. (However there is a lot of accumulated ascent as you ascend and descend the various hills). There are great views of the main Galty range from new angles, as well as views into the lakes below.

Note: ALL information such as Ascent, Length and Creator time taken etc should be regarded as approximate. The creator's comments are opinions and may not be accurate or still correct.
Your time to complete will depend on your speed plus break time and your mode of transport. For walkers: Naismith's rule, a rough and often inaccurate estimate, suggests a time of 4h 53m + time stopped for breaks
Note: It is up to you to ensure that your route is appropriate for you and your party to follow bearing in mind all factors such as safety, weather conditions, experience and access permission.
