MountainViews.ie Picture about mountain Ben Alder in area Loch Treig to Loch Ericht, Ireland
Picture: Culra Bothy Sept 2016
New Comment: Culra Bothy is closed due to asbestos problem
by melohara  12 Oct 2016
Culra Bothy is closed (but unlocked) due to a health and safety issue with asbestos. It should not be used except in dire need of emergency shelter.
I camped near the bridge across Allt a' Chaoil-reidhe and followed the route described by Steve Kew in his Cicerone Guide to Walking the Munros without incident. Trackback: http://mountainviews.ie/summit/B345/comment/18644/
