Tough climb over rough ground
Short Summary created by jackill,  13 Oct 2013
Park opposite the BMC club hut, which is just past the Glen Brittle mountain rescue post room on the roadside for 5 cars. Find a footpath alongside some sheep pens. The path soon leads to a bridge over the Allt Coire na Banachdich; cross this and continue uphill on the path. The path passes close to the rim of a great cleft in the earth, with a view of the impressive 80 foot-high Eas Mor fall.Shortly after the cleft the path forks; take the left fork. The path continues below the impressive cliff of Window Buttress up the mountainside to the right, finally entering upper Coire na Banachdich. The back of the coire is blocked by a ring of cliffs, split by an impressive gully. Cross the stream and follow the path up to the right, marked with small cirns in places, cutting left at about 750 meters to gain the ridge at its lowest point of about 850 meters. Head right along the crest of the ridge and a steep scree slope to the summit with views of the In Pinn. Trackback: http://mountainviews.ie/summit/B1241/comment/7130/
