Due to the topography and the prevailing winds usually coming from SW, the wind tends to funnel through the Barrnamadra Gap, however the winds around the Seefin area on the day of the Comeragh Crossing were exceptional, especially for July. Trackback: http://mountainviews.ie/summit/90/comment/1835/
