Picture: View of Knockanaskil from Poulacapple to the NE

Easy with good views.
Short Summary created by simon3  29 May 2012 This can be approached on a track from the east starting from V849721 (Point A). Just 200m south of this there is some not necessarily easy parking. Another route is from the north starting from roadside parking at around V8391 7328 (Point B). Take a route S along the side of the forest eventually heading SW towards the summit over rough ground (see Track 1718) The going gets easier the higher you go.
It may be easier to visit Poulacapple 349m first, which has the advantage of walking along the ridge between the two withviews to the Kenmare River to the South and a really good vantage point for the Knocklomena to Boughil end of the Dunkerrons to the north.
Point A: V849 721 Point B: V8391 7328
