Dead Sheep Drama On Coumfea! We came across this dead sheep and her very much alive and kicking lamb on top of Coumfea. The poor lamb was bleating for its dead mother (all together now...aaaaaah) and my companions pictured here decided to rescue it ..against my advice I have to say. I was of the view that nature should take its course, etc. Anyhow, two of the group caught the lamb and took it down to the farmer at the start of the walk. I'm sure they earned good karma for such a humane act. I carried on on our intended route down Knocknalingady to The Gap feeling like a nazi. Anyways, I'm sure the lamb ended up on someone's dinner plate shortly afterwards. Trackback: http://mountainviews.ie/summit/88/comment/1137/
