Am I there yet?
by paddyhillsbagger  5 May 2012 My start point for a Foilduff/Mauherslieve circuit was at a friendly farmhouse at the start of a forestry entrance at R852 624 (Point C). From here the forest road to the left heads up to Foilduff summit. It turns itno a boggy ride for a while with lovely views of Knockfune to NW before crossing another road where you take another rough cross country walk to summit area. It's uncanny to spot the same trees as jackill's photo especially when all I was thinking at the time was; Am I there yet? Am I there yet? Am I there yet? I followed the directions to Mauherslieve and from the top spotted a forest road WNW of the summit which took me back to the start.
