An interesting climb from the spectacular Mahon Falls. Start at the Mahon Falls car park and climb up the steep & wet north side of the falls (photo). Continue over rough terrain and bog land to top (I'm not sure if we found it). Then continue south-west along a spectacular, narrow ridge with steep drops to the east and west and great views in both directions. We then descended by peak 715 (grid 284 085 G) to lower ground and back to car park. Dangerous route when visibility is poor. Time taken about 5 hours.
